Bill joined Centerbridge in 2019 as the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer. Bill is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee and focuses on advancing and aligning the Firm’s operations and investment strategy. Bill also serves as the Chair of the Overland Advantage Board of Trustees and is a member of the Overland Advantage Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Centerbridge, Bill was a Partner and the Regional Managing Partner of the Americas at Bain & Company responsible for strategy and day-to-day operations in North and South America. Throughout his career, he was a leader in Bain’s Private Equity, Technology and Strategy practices. He also served on Bain’s Global Operating Committee and Board of Directors. Prior to joining Bain in 1997, Bill served as a Captain in the United States Air Force.
Bill received a B.S. in Engineering and an M.S. in aeronautics and astronautics from Stanford University. He also holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School with high distinction as a George F. Baker Scholar.
