Neil Sherman

Overland Advantage Board Member & Venture Partner at Glilot Capital Partners

Neil is a Venture Partner with Glilot Capital Partners, a venture capital firm, in which capacity he has served since April 2023. From 2012 through 2023, Mr. Sherman was a managing director of Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for managing the relationships with many of the bank’s largest institutional asset management clients, including hedge funds, private equity and credit funds, and venture capital firms. Prior to that, Mr. Sherman worked at JP Morgan, where he was a managing director in the investment bank, covering various asset management firms, and also ran the global sales team for prime services after the acquisition of Bear Stearns. Prior to joining JP Morgan, Mr. Sherman worked at Lehman Brothers from 1983 until 2006, initially as an associate general counsel with a specialization in equity, fixed income and commodities trading.

Subsequently, Mr. Sherman served in senior roles in debt and equity capital markets and led the global sales and marketing group for the prime services department. Prior to his career in investment banking, Mr. Sherman was a practicing attorney in New York City and Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Sherman has a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. with distinction from Emory University.
